I began photographing aircraft in 2008, after attending my first major airshow in 2007, the Royal International Air Tattoo, and getting unfavorable results with a small point and shoot camera, I upgraded afterwards to a Fuji bridge camera, which was quickly replaced just a few months later for my first DSLR. Since then I have been photographing aircraft at airshows and airbases across the country using Canon DSLR's and Sigma telephoto lenses. I like to spend as much time as possible at my local airbase RAF Valley as well as flying GA aircraft whenever I can. If you would like to keep up to date with my activities you can follow me on twitter and instagram at @andrewj653.
